(Frankfurt Am Main, Germany)
Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) is the ideal airport to fly into if you want to enjoy the Mosel or Rhine wine regions, where numerous quality accommodation options can be found.

Frankfurt: City Hotels and Accommodation
The city centre is around 130 km / 80 miles from Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) and whilst the city contains a wealth of accommodation, many nearer locations also offer reasonably priced hotels worth considering. Popular towns include Kirchberg, which is just 10 km / 6 miles from the airport, and nearby Simmern, around 20 km / 12 miles away.
Hotels in Frankfurt tend to be fairly expensive and many cater for regular business travellers during the week. The city is particularly busy during the seasonal trade fairs, known locally as 'messen', when room rates rise and advance reservations are sensible. Those arriving in Frankfurt without booking accommodation ahead should consider visiting the city's main tourist information office at the Hauptbahnhof, which is open seven days a week. Staff here will be happy to help find hotels with available rooms for just a small fee, charged for walk-in bookings.
Hostels in Frankfurt tend to offer the cheapest lodging options, with many providing separate double rooms, together with dormitory beds. The most inexpensive accommodation is generally centred around the Bahnhofsviertel, which is a fairly uninviting area close to the Hauptbahnhof.
